Two very talented and powerful teams went at it this past sunday. The defending champs Raiders, with a few new players compared to last years roster, went hard against one of the most improved teams in this thing of ours. The Falcons have been sending other team a clear and percise message throughout the entire season. They needed to finish the season with the crown or it was going to be all for nothing. Raiders with the mission of being the first team in league history to win back to bavk rings. Both teams with of a lot to lose, but what most people dony know is that most of these guys use to play on the same team. And there is still a little animosity on both sides. But it is all over except for the probowl and the Falcons finished theor 2012 season with "getting the gold suckas", and it topped off a great season. We have a probowl game coming up this sunday and then its a wrap for the league until next summer. We will love to take this time to tbanks not just the teams that fought every sunday, but the crazy fans that show up each and every sunday to cheer for their teams and cuss out the other ones. Through sun, rain, and hurricanes, we play and they support. Love you guys and see ya next summer.

Superbowl Picture
So after a very entertaining sunday, our Superbowl picture is fianlly complete and it turned out like we said. The defendung champs Raiders are going against the most complete in the league. The Falcons just finished two very three weeks and now are going to top it off with a chance to win it all. If you show up for any game this year, it should be this one. These two teams have it in for each other. No love lost here. But with refs that promise to eject players out of the game, how much will these players push it? If the Raiders get the Falcons to lose composer then the Raiders will win. If the Falcons keep it together and just play football , they are favored to win.

Lets Go
So will the Raiders push through the Chargers and make it to the playoffs for 2nd time in 2 years? Or will the Chargers pull off the biggest upset in M2sports history?
Will the Falcons continue their dominance all they way to the crown? Will they continue to play together as a team long enough to reep the rewards of team play? Or will the Eagles finally figure out the team that beat in every game during the regular season?
Either way it goes, it should be a very intense Sunday. We love this thing of ours and have our predictions as like everyone else. We love the passion everyone plays with. Keep up the brotherly love. Keep the good games going and stay healthy. Dony forget to vote for yoir probowl players.

On To The Playoffs
So the finak regular season game was a good one. Chargers vs Browns and Chargers were beaten by a very hungry team. The Browns finished the 2012 season with their first win of the season.
Raiders wanted to get another game in before they go into the post season. Saints did not show up for their last game and I am sure some penalty will be coming because of that.
Falcons vs Eagles was a very interesting game to watch. It seemed as if they were both playing to win and gibing it everything they had even though they play each other again this upcoming sunday. Its good to see teams playing hard even though they know it won't change anything. It actually looked as if everyone had some fun out there and we are certain that it isn't going to be like that during the playoffs.

Playoff Picture Complete
So wk10 brought a couple of games that was fun yo watch. Raiders vs Browns was cool to see the big boys laugh and joke around as they maintained the a competitive level. They both knew it was for fun. Browns are trying to get their first win and Raiders were trying to have them earn it.
Falcons vs Chargers was basicalky the samething. Falcons trying some new stuff out and getting some injured players some much needed rest. They looked as if they were having fun out there but they wanted to see what the next would bring.
Eagles vs Saints had a meaning to it. Eagles win and they clinch a playoff . They lose and they would have to beat a team they werent able to beat all season. Saints played the Eagles in the playoffs last year and took them out. Eagles came into this game with that in mind. Saints cane into it with the same in mind. A very well played game. A tough game by both sides and the end proved to be a very emotional. Some players upset others extremely happy and just about everyone else just plain worn out. Falcons vs Eagles and the Raiders vs Chargers.

Note To The League
So in the begining of the season we thought a coupke of teams were gonna stand out. We thought it could be interesting to watch the once mighty Browns, the only two time champs, and see if with the takent and work they put in... if they viuld finally look like the Browns of old. Unfortunately that didn't happen. They look like they will be known for the opposite. With 2 games left, they need to do something quickly or they will be the only team not to have a win.
We wanted to watch Raiders also. We wanted to see if the defending champs would be suffering that hangover. They managed to to keep their roster intact and added a couple of new threats. They maintain the same level of play but have new players standing out. This team does not look any different than the team that won it all last year. Can you say back to back?
2Wks Left!!!!
So we have just two weeks left in the regular season. And after this past sunday, our AFC playoff picture is complete. The Chargers will be meeting the defending champs for a shot to go to the big show. The Chargers got in after the Browns lost to the Eagles.
Eagles are starting to pick things up now. Did they plan it this way or did something happen in the begining of the season via injuries that forced them to put people in spots they werent comfortable in? Either way, it makes for a great story because this week is was just made that more important after the Falcons pushed themselves foward by beating the only team to beat them this season. Saints are now forced to win this upcoming sunday or become fans come the post season.
You gotta love the tension. You gotta love this thing of ours.

We Are Almost Done
Wk8 just went down, and teams are starting to feel the pressure. Biggest week ever. We thought it was just going to be the defending vs the very hungry Falcons that was going to be the most intense game played, we were kinda wrong.
The big boys did show out. They were not fighting to stay on top of their division. It was like they were trying to prove to the other team that they were top dog. Both teams came in focused and tensed up. Falcons took a 2 score lead and the Raiders were taken off their game a little. Players lost their cool and risked getting kicked out of the league. The Falcons turned the ball over a couple of times and the Raiders took advantage. There's a good change that you will see these two teams in the superbowl and its gonna be a game to watch.
The Saints with everything to lose, took on the Browns who are trying to win their first game since wk1 2011. Saints did not take the Browns seriously and it showed. Browns almost took this away from the Saints and had the Saints arguing among themselves. The Browns real good but ran out of gas towards the end. Saints pulled it together and came off the fiekd with another win.
Eagles vs Chargers was a game we wanted to see but didn't expect it to be as physical as it ended up being. We find out later that someone from tbe Chargers team was posting some disrespectful statements on Facebook. These two teams know each other pretty well even though this is the first time they play each other this season. They have spent all spring and the begining of the summer lkaying against each other and practicing together. But those comment must have hit a cord with the Eagles because they came out swinging and they were hitting everything that moved. Their special teams need some work but the offense and defense were focused and it showed as they came off the field with another much needed win.

Thoughts
So with the season more than half way done... we have an idea how this thing is gonna end. It may seem as if we are stating the obvious but we really feel that the Raiders are going to defend their crown against the best team in the NFC... the Falcons. We think it's going to be a hard fought game and it's going to be a low scoring event. There are going to be drives that will end pretty quick but we have the Falcons just squeaking by to take the crown away from the Raiders. Don't try to send a hit squad. We are just speaking our minds and we see something everyone may be missing.

Time To Separate
The Raiders clinch a playoff berth with a win over the Saints. That leaves the Chargers and Browns to battle for the last spot. Chargers met the Browns and after a very physical game, the Chargers gave themselves a 2 game lead over the 2time former champs.
The Falcons took on the Eagles for the second time this year. This game was one of the best games of the season. A very competitive game that was very important for both teams. Falcons join the Raiders with a 6-1 record and letting the rest of the NFC know that are not done.
Looks like the Eagles and Saints are gonna be fighting it out to meet a Falcons team that is highly motivated to win it all. We can't wait to see who steps it up for wk8.

What A WK6!!!!!
Falcons are just rolling over other teams. They met up with the Chargers and there was some bad blood between the 2 teams. Chargers tried to make it a game when they scored a couple of touchdowns but the Falcons are loaded with talent and we've mentioned it a few times already, they are very hungry. And you can tell by watching this team play. Chargers have some decisions to make if they want to keep their 1 game lead over the Browns and secure a playoff appearance. Falcons keep playing they way they are.... they may be favored to wIn It all.
Saints started win a 3 game losing streak and we told you that they do that but come back and finish strong as hell. They did it last year and went to the superbowl. Now they have a 3 game winning streak after embarrassing the Eagles. They seemed to be playing perfect. They caused the Eagles to turn over the ball as much as any team could turn Iverson the ball. They looked like a first year team going against a championship caliber team. Looks like the Saints are committed to getting back to the big show and look like they have a plan to do just that.
Raiders are defending the crown like true champs. They took on a big boy team and handled business as true professionals. They made it look easy and we know playing the Browns is anything but easy. The Browns are the only team to win 2 crowns and until someone takes that and does it better.... they need to be taken seriously. Raiders loom as if they are going to repeat the playoff appearance. Lets bring on wk7.

Oh yeaaahhhhh !!!!!
Wk5 just went down, let's just say that it was a very great day to be a fan. Those undefeated Falcons went against the Saints who came off of an impressive win over the Chargers. We told ya a couple weeks ago that the Saints, for some strange reason, take about 3 weeks to get their ... stuff together. Sure enough week 4 gave them their first win. And they showed up big time against the Falcons. They started fast and kept title going. They got the Falcons off guard and kinda showed them why they, the Saints, were in the superbowl. The Falcons seemed to be unfocused at times and not playing Falcons football. A lot of dropped passes and players looking as though they had a rough night. Don't take anything away from the Saints. They still had to complete passes. Finish runs. And put scores on the board. And they did. Taking home another great win.
The defending champs are coming off of a loss and it might have been just what the Dr. Ordered. They took on the Chargers and took control almost from the start. The Chargers had a couple of good drives. But there is almost no way for them to stop that defense. The Raiders are the best in adapting to what works and dropping what makes them struggle. The Raiders were fixing mistakes during the game and punished players who dropped passes or missed flags by having them do pushups. The Champs look like they got their focus back.
Eagles vs Browns is the oldest rivalry in our book.... this book. Eagles came in short handed and with 4 players injured. The Browns look as if they found a qb finally and this guy is good. He takes control of the offense and takes his cues from the sideline coach. They attack the weaknesses of their opponent and focus on moving ball. The Eagles, even though they were missing players, they didn't miss a step. they were diving the ball pretty well and it was a great display of a balanced offense. They seemed full of energy and as if they had new life. It could be because they saw the division leaders drop a game and saw an opportunity to try to get closer to that number one spot. We do have to mention that towards the end of the game, the Eagles slowed down drastically. And we noticed something that could mean nothing. We noticed a few players with no jerseys on and standing on the sideline without ever coming back in. Could mean there were some injuries that they don't want anyone to know about. Or that they were trying out their new guys now so they could use them a lot later. Either way. Great Wk5!!!

Oh yeah.... that was Wk4
So Wk4 just popped through. The Falcons seem to be on fire. They don't look like they are slowing down. They went against the 2 times M2SPORTS Champions, Mad Ink Browns. 2 big teams, one trying to make a statement, the other trying to get back to their winning ways. The Falcons are fully loaded with talent on both sides of the ball. They have a gameplan this year and if they stay with it.... be prepared to see them in the big game.
The Saints went against a very hungry team in the Chargers. Chargers just came off a huge win against a very good team. With new found motivation, the Chargers were trying to get another win over another great team. The Saints were coming off their 3rd loss and came in with a chip on their shoulder. Saints changed things up again. Looking like they may have found something. They seemed to be adapting and trying to new things every week. Hopefully they can be successful and maintain that same level of play. They came off the field with their first win of the season. This team is capable of getting back into the playoffs but they can't fall again. The NFC isn't too forgiving.
The defending champs went against the Eagles this week. Raiders were trying to keep their winning streak alive and the Eagles were coming off a tough loss against a strong team. A wounded animal is a tough to defend against. The Raiders were doing a good job of it though. They went up 2 scores on the Eagles but then started to change things around because of an injury to their qb and because the Eagles defense started to get through that oline. Looked like fatigue was a major issue with the Raiders big boys. At times they looked worn out. And the Eagles smelled blood. Eagles are not that team to get tired on. They keep fighting til that last whistle. And if you let up.... well. You end up with your first loss of the season.
Bring on wk5!!!!

What a WK3
So week 3 seems to be better than expected. The games were with with excitement and it seemed to us as some teams came in with new motivation.
The Browns vs Chargers was the first game and you cane kind of see some new found focus on both teams. Browns were very aggressive and were using their bigger size to try to put the Chargers away. They came close a few times and had some success moving the ball. But it seemed at times like they thought the game was over.
Chargers came in with some passion. With a fallen teammate and a chip on their shoulders, they were determined to finally get that first win. Having the Browns wasn't an easy game. That team is a 2 time superbowl champ. And a much bigger team. But the Chargers played for Matt and made a game out of this one. This first the first team to hit overtime and the Chargers came out the victors. With wk4 coming lets see if they can keep that fire burning
The Falcons vs Eagles game was another M2SPORTS classic. When these 2 teams meet, you know it's gonna be physical. With teams fighting for the top spot in the NFC and there was only room for one. Falcons started out fast. Scoring almost at will, and it was their defense that made the difference in this game. Eagles were forced to turn the ball over on downs on many of occasions. The Falcons defense scored on interceptions and fumble recoveries. They were a problem and it was evident. The Eagles finally started getting back in the game and putting up some points on the board. The Eagles defense started to get some rest and when it was to get on the field, it showed. They got a few stops and gave their offense a few more attempts to tie it up, but it was a little too late and the Falcons weren't making any mistakes. The Falcons took their rightful spot on top of the NFC and now wait to play the defending champions to finish their pay back from last year.
The defending champs are still rolling and it looks like no one can stop them. That defense is looking lime a major problem to try to overcome and the Saints looked a little too worn out to even give a good attempt to try and solve it. Saints have a great team and they usually start out late but it may be a little too late for this team. The Raiders are the defending champs and are playing as one. With the chemistry that they have, and the focus that they maintain, it could be the first team to get back to back titles. From wk4 to wk6 is gonna make the difference. If some teams don't start putting some "w's " up, it could be over before we reach mid season.

Wk2 is done
Amazing matchup this week. The defending picked up another win them they took down the Browns. Raiders looking very good out there, on nothing sides of the ball. A couple of pick 6's to letters know that the defense is back and better than last year.
The Eagles let the Saints know that this year is different, with a win over the Saints yesterday. Eagles defense looked pretty good but at times kind of tired. The offense took a little to get warmed up but when they did... it was over. There was about 6 picks on the Eagles defense alone. Saints tried to change things u p and adapt to what the Eagles were doing but we think the heat was too much for them. It's too early to tell really, but we think some teams didn't practice as much during the off season and it's starting to show.
Those Falcons have impressed a lot of us this year. They seem to be the most complete team on the field. They change things up , it looks like, almost every possession. They give defenses different looks and they play as one witout worryin g about calls. That could be the missing link for them. The Chargers are struggling to find themselves. And until they do, we believe they will continue to struggle.

After Week 1
The second game was one of the best defensive games of the day. Falcons vs Saints was a game we all wanted to watch. Things didn't finish quite like the Falcons wanted to last year, but they are not dwelling on last year. Saints fell short of winning it all last year and made some adjustments during the off season to ensure that, this year would be different. It was a great defensive game. Both Falcons and Saints were bringing the pressure and making the opposing team change their gameplan in order to give themselves a chance to win. Falcons looked very hungry. They looked the most focused then they ever had in the past. The Falcons have some new faces and they look like they want to just kill their opponents. They have speed in every aspect of the game and it will take 3 weeks for them to rn at all cylinders... scary. The Saints were adapting as quickly as they could. This team is pretty good in making on the field adjustments, second only to the Raiders. At times you can tell that they haven't really had that much time together. But in true Saints fashion, they gave it everything they had. We aren't worried about this team. We know last year they started the same way and finished in the Superbowl. The Falcons took this one 21-7
The last game to finish of the day, was that between the 2 teams that have been doing this the longest. Last year was the first time that both teams didnt make it inot the Superbowl. They both came in trying to prove to everyone, and themselves that they still have it. This game was important to both teams. Add the fact the Browns have never lost an opening day game. Even with a bad season like the one they had in 2011, they seem to always bring it day 1. On this day, the Browns were a brand new team. They had a couple of very important pieces missing, but still looked like a very dangerous team. They started with a great defensive game and it looked as if the Eagles weren't going to be able find a way to stop them. The Browns took the lead when they scored first and everyone was looking to see if the Eagles were going to fold. The Eagles work hard during the off season trying to find talent and get everyone to work together. Sometimes those kind of tactics would burn out a team well before the season even starts. And thats what other teams were wondering when the Browns looked like they were having their way with the Eagles. But say what you will, the Eagles are hard headed and will give a you a fight til that last whistle. And in true Eagles form, they rode on the shoulders of their QB and RB, and made a game out of it. They took a 2 score lead and refused to let it go. The Eagles defense finished the game as if they got their second wind. And the Browns who tried to adjust during the game, just couldn't fast enough. The Eagles went home with a 35-21 win over the Browns.

Scrimmage

So this past Sunday we seen some teams try to feel each other out. Saints were suppose to scrimmage the champs but because of other commitments they went vs the Eagles. It's was a pretty good shining for both teams. Saints were missing a few key players but we're very impressive. Looks like they took time to assemble a team that looks better than last years. Browns vs Fakcons was also a fun one to watch. Both teams improved dramatically over what they had last year. And both were missing a few people. Browns look like they have a qb in place and a back up just in case. They have a pretty good running game and are stacked in both sides of the line. Falcons have finally got it. They have a qb. They have a rb. They have wrs. They have a strong oline and dline. And that secondary is scary. Eagles vs Chargers was something not to miss. Chargers were giving the Eagles problems on both sides of the ball. Chargers look to be very competitive. And look to be a contender for the AFC title. The Eagles looked frustrated and at times as if they weren't prepared. Let's hope for their sake that it was because they just finished a scrimmage with the Saints. If not..... it's doing to be another disappointing season for the one time champs.

Scrimmages on the horizon

Its kinda crazy. In this league that teams have some control over. And that our voices are heard, we still have teams and players that haven't paid their dues to play. Maybe they don't understand that flags aren't free. Ir maybe they forget to realize that what they want to evolve to cost money. This thing of ours is going to have to find new teams next season to bring this back to what it was set up to do. Bring this thing back to people who want to really be part of this and want it to continue and be there for people who need it.

Top 25
Who would you vote top all time or just even top 25 from this past season? Players you would love to have on your team but hate playing against. There alot to choose from and alot that are worthy of tour votes. This past season was the most competitive season we have ever had. And it gave is a new champ to crown. Love it or hate it, there are players that deserve recognition.

Almost Time! !!
Its almost time for the league to kick off the season with the awards banquet, being held in the VFW post in Dedham MA. But it seems like it isnt going to be a season like last year or better. From what we understand, the champs only paid for 10 which isnt the team they had last year. Hard to defend a title if you dont bring back all your weapons.
The Browns, who helped kick off the league, have not paid for anyone. With alot of demands coming from one of the owners, and one of their players, looks like they like playing in another league that only rewards the champs. From what we understand, they are telling the league owner and the president of the league to pick up money for a full roster, but they show up, Browns dont have the money witht them.
We also have the Falcons who are a very competetive team, but have players that cant seem to pay up even though they show up to practice.
Maybe if these teams tried to fill their rosters before july, they would have better luck. We understand that the league isnt going to allow any additions to the rosters from the date of the banquet on. So i hope these teams can play iron man.

Whats Next?
Did these guys get satisfied with getting the crown their first year in? Are they still interested in defending what's theirs? Or are they gonna be left out this season because they just couldn't get things together as fast as they did last season? What will happen with the players that wanna come back? Are the thoughts of the few more important then the wants of many? This team has the potential of being the first to win it all back to back. They most likely won't make any crazy changes to the roster and will have a year of experience as a unit under their belt. Lets hope they can get it together before someone takes their spot.

Here We Go
So this time last year, we had all 6 teams registered and were working on getting uniforms and teams schedules done. We should be working on finishing up our rosters and preparing for an owners meeting. Banquet preparations should be getting finalized and we should all be anticipating the start of the new season. So why is that only the Eagles have registered for 2012? The defending champs havent done so, and the other team that has been here since that start, Mad Ink Browns, took that loot and registered in a different league til this one starts. The Saints players that were coming back with their own team has just figured out that it aint as easy as they thought. We need to get things in order quickly or this thing of ours will cease to exist.

Awards 2011
This past season was filled with some great plays made by some outstanding players. Some old heads showed up big time for their teams and played almost every position just to try to get that win. You had some new guys that made an instant impact, not just on their team, but in the entire league. You also had some players that did well but missed a few games. We understand that stuff happens but should they be able to beat out someone who sacrifices everything every sunday for their teammates? This is what we are going through right now. Stats are great but should it be about the number and not the heart? Let us know what you think.

Dem Champs
We are looking forward to see what 2012 will bring. In 2011 we were happy to see competition like we never seen it before. We had great teams come in but none as determined as the Six Seventeen Raiders. They came in to the season with only one goal. They recruited with the promise of winning it all. They compiled a team of dedicated players. Dedicated to winning at all cost. And not to be done in 2 years but to be done now. They had players working like mad men. They others that broke bones and continued to play. Week after week. Team after team. Play after play, these men gave it their all. And at the end..... they became champs. Some people say it was luck. We say it was dedication. Congrats again to those Six Seventeen Raiders that are now your M2SPORTS 2011 Champions!!!!!

Cant Wait
We are looking forward to see what the Falcons will bring. We just hope that whatever they bring, let it be a team that doesnt look for excuses but finds solutions. This team can easily beat anyone in this league but is its own worst enemy. It cant be just one or two people that can get this team focused. This team took itself out of the playoffs by not showing up for 2 games. We can only imagine what the superbowl would have been like with this team going against the Raiders. It would have been a game that no one would have forgotten. But it didnt happen and we can only hope that the 2012 will be different for this strong team. They still have some holes to fill but hopefully it can be done before the deadline.

The Champs
The Six Seventeen Raiders are backing up their 2011 crown. They are going to make another run at a second crown in 2 yrs. Their goal is to create a dynasty in here and trying to be the first to get a back to back crowns. Lets stay tuned to this channel and see what comes up.
Looking Strong
The Mad Ink Browns continue to make off season moves to get back to being a dominant force in this league. They promise to get back to what worked for them and using the new talent to take the team to the next level. They are still looking for the final few pieces to hopefully propel them into the championship in 2012.

Question!!!!!
The man won Full Impact Player of the Year, for sacrificing his body for his team, a couple seasons ago. He did some crazy off season training to get himself in condition to do the same last season. He went hard as hell during off season workouts and practices and demanded the same thing from his players. As co-owner of a great team, he wouldn't have to do much to get his message across. You are either in for the long haul, or dont even bother showing up at all. He filled in a position where he wasnt too familiar with, but that didnt stop him from giving it his all. And he was diing a pretty good job until he broke his foot. His players rallied around him and tried to get to that next level for him. That says alot about a man's character when your players dont want to let you down. But the team couldnt pull it off in the playoffs and were left wondering what if. We think that he was too big of an impact to be without him for too long. And it showed in the playoff game . The team tried its best but just couldnt do it. Now that he is moving around pretty good, the question is, can he be that dude?

2012
So new rules, new teams, and most likely different refs. Will result in the same outcome? Will there still be talks of favoritism? Which we believe made no sense. The team that they were talking about didnt even make it out if the playoffs. Maybe some teams should have taken a closer look at their roster and the players that didnt even show up for games before they throw stones. Hope those teams shop at a different sports store for those players for 2012. We think its going to be alot harder to surprise anyone next season. The teams that change and adapts the most will have a better year. Only team we need know if that has made the mist changes so far its them Mad Ink Browns. The Patriots have added a couple of familiar faces. The Falcons are a question mark. They have a few hurt players coming back but we dont know how well they will be playing. The Saints look like they wont come back. The Raiders look like the same team. Dont know if that's good or bad. The Eagles are still hurting from their playoff loss. And so far it doesnt sound like they plan on changing too much. They dont make changes till they start to practice so expect to see any changes til then. Only spot reserved has been taken up by the Eagles. Whos next? Whos gonna be left out? Whos gonna cry and become a fan?
