The 2012 Soap Opera Continues...

So rumors have it that a couple of players are not coming back for the Raiders. A couple are seeking new teams fir personal reasons. A couple are just done because this league is a little more physical than they thought and dont want to miss days of work. And we dont know yet if they will be the same team that won it all this past season. And with the AFC looking like its gonna be a little bit more competetive than last year, the defending champs would have to bring their A game every sunday to give themselves the best possible chance of repeating. Will they be still drunk off of the crown? Will they be satisfied with just one chip? Or will they be the first team to get it back to back? Pause!!!!!!

Eagles

These Eagles have earned alot of respect from other teams and players in this league. They were complimented on how the carried themselves throughout the season. But the Eagles fell short of the superbowl and we know they were not happy about that. They stood on the sidelines during the big show for the first time ever. They felt that they had a shot of bringing home another ring. It didnt happen. They are now making moves again, to try and get that perfect team on that field for 2012. The Eagles dont  except just anyone. You have have to be able to take direction and play as a team. You have to give everything you during practices and even more during the games. It will be interesting to see what they bring to the field in 2012.

Update....

So the Browns seem to be making moves to get their team back to where it needs to be to make a run for their 3rd crown in 2012. They got their core players and adding people to tighten up a few areas they were struggling in in the 2011 season. Will it work? Will they get some real practice in to fine tune some plays? Will a leader stand out and give this team something to focus on? Will the new players be able to take direction and deliver on the message? Only one way to find out.

2012 Already?

Is it too early to talk about our 2012 season? With the Eagles being the only team to reserve a spot for the season, it's hard to say what the battles are going to look like. The Saints are splitting and looks like they could turn into 3 teams. The Falcons are planning on coming back to the NFC and not take the Ravens name back and compete to dominate the AFC. Browns have made some moves and took a few players from the Patriots. They were eyeing these guys the entire season but waited until the Pro Bowl to make their move. Patriots are bringing back some key players back from the Redskins team they had. They even convinced the small qb to come back and to start a new era. Raiders want to come back have not said anything else. 2012 will bring new teams, new rules, and hopefully some new changes to make it better than 2011. And there will be a couple of teams that will be left out.

IT'S A WRAP!!!

We crowned a new champ. The Six Seventeen Raiders took the belt and beat a hell of a team in the Fresco Inc Saints. This was been the best season in M2SPORTS yet. And we finished it in style. This was a great to watch and he support these teams got from other teams in this league was crazy. We had teams like the Browns; Patriots; Eagles; and Falcons on the sidelines watching these 2 great teams going for the gold. We had sidelines full of fans enjoying the games as well. These two teams represented their division very well. The Saints just finished, what some are calling, the best game of the year with the Eagles. Questions were asked if they burn themselves out before the biggest game of the year. The Raiders would have something to say about that. These teams really did it all on the field and the end of the game basically capped it off as the time ran out and the Raiders cheered and let out a sigh that could be heard throughout Hyde Park. And as we heal up from our injuries, and contemplate moves to get our teams ready for next season, we have the our new kings of M2SPORTS hopefully enjoying the spoils of their hard work.

Superbowl or bust!!!!!

Make sure you catch the last game and what most likely be history in the making this Sunday at Ross Park in Hyde Park. The Fresco Inc Saints look to finish off the season making a statement to the league. They are the talent that brought the defending champs their second crown. Now they plan on doing it for themselves.
But the Six Seventeen Raiders are planning on drop kicking those plans into the Goose doo doo that's on the field. They believe they have what it takes to bring the crown back to their hideout and prove to the Falcons (last years Ravens) that without them, that team will never even see the playoffs.
Two teams with a mission and a point to make. They met up only once and the Raiders walked away with that one. But.... the team that beat the Raiders 2 out of 3 meetings were beat by the Saints. Another team that seemed to score at will was the Eagles.... Saints just had a very impressive win over that team also. So what does that meas? Absolutely nothing. It's one game to decide it all and anything can happen. Don't be the one that misses the epic finish to this incredible season.

The Games of a Lifetime!!!!

So no big deal if you missed the games this past Sunday, It was just the playoff games and in our opinion, the best 2 games of the season. 4 walked on, but only 2 walked off with their hands up in victory.          The Six Seventeen Raiders vs the Hyde Park Patriots were first to square off in the middle of the field. They were slugging it out for the majority of the 2 hours. They were going back and fourth changing their players on the field and trying to give themselves the best shot of putting the other team away. Down by just 1 score, the Pats QB #34 Eddie found himself on the sideline after an injury on the field. Adnan takes his position behind the center, but he hasn't done that in a while. First snap under center, first pass of the day for him, and turns out, it was the first pik thrown. The Pats look like they got heart torn out as the defense takes the field. First pass by the Raiders after the pik, and it was for a touchdown. But #34 comes back on the field and makes it a game again. After being down by 2 they make up some ground and are done by just 1. Raiders get their second wind and keep the Pats from scoring again. The Raiders finally put the Pats away and as the clock ticks its last seconds away. The Raiders become the first team to get into the BIG game.
Now you would think that the Raiders would go celebrate, but they decide to stay to catch the NFC game. The defending Champs had people come and watch and the fans were all over the place. This NFC game seemed to be a big deal. Eagles vs Saints for the 4th time and these games are usually classics. 2 teams that mirror each other pretty nicely. Both played a defensive game like no other. It seemed like they didn't leave the middle of the field for hours. The Fresco Inc Saints start putting scores on the board and before you know it, it's a 3-0 game with the U.M. Eagles trailing. The Saints start to close the game up but the Eagles being who they are, finally changed their game plan and started to push a comeback. Both teams are one that if you fall behind, you can pretty much start packing up your duffel bags and trooping it back to your pov's. But again, this wasn't any old game. And these two teams do not know what quit is. With one last chance the Eagles QB tosses a deep pass on 4th and long to one of his sure handed WRs, Sticky Fingers himself. And when it looks like he catches it and starts to bring the ball down to his body for what looked like the tying score, and a chance to push this game into overtime, the ball slips down his chest and hits the ground for incomplete pass. The Saints get possession and kill the clock like it hurt a family member. Everyone gives each other love after the game and while the Eagles are walking off with thoughts of next season, the Saints walk off planning against the Raiders.
An awesome day, and if you missed it, well... you can buy the dvd but it won't do it any justice. Special thanks to ALL the fans that supported this thing of ours and show up to every game even in a hurricane. We love ya.

What Did I Miss?

I tell ya what ya missed. This thing of ours is better than a Spanish soap opera. Eagles have a record of 9-1 followed by the Raiders with a 7-3 record. Saints with a 6-5. Falcons and Patriots share a 3-7 record each followed by the defending champs with a disappointing 2-8 record. And as for the action.... where do I start.
The Browns have gone on a down spiral that they just couldn't get out of in enough time to make a run for another Superbowl appearance. They fall to a 2-8 record with the only 2 wins coming from a game one win over the Pats and a Falcons forfeit. They have lost to every team in this league. I am sure that this does not sit well with the owners from Mad Ink and rumors have it, they are already making changes to their 2012 rosters. You will be surprised with the players that will not be coming back. Stay Tuned for that one.
Patriots clinched that last spot in the playoffs and helped themselves by beating the Browns and another Falcons forfeit. This team is on fire and have a great shot to go all the way. If you take a look at their previous games, you can see how much of a problem they are to ALL the teams in this league. They can change the game with just one play. And they have the talent to keep a lead. Fall asleep on this team, and you may wake up with a loss.
Raiders putting in work these past few weeks and has a pretty good record going into the end of the regular season. They win over the Browns then meet the Eagles and lost a great fight. met up with the Saints and after a battle for the ages, sneak away with a "W". These last 2 games mean alot. If they can beat the Patriots in the playoffs, they will have to battle one of these 2 great teams in order to leave with the crown. Going into the Playoffs everyone is 0-0 and the only thing that matters is the game that is being played.
The Saints have proven themselves to be true competitors and take care of teams the best way they know how. They beat em !!! They are going to meet the Eagles in the playoffs and it's going to be a hard, physical, very competitive game. If you miss that one, you will miss history in the making. PERIOD!!!! The Saints come into every week ready to put teams away. They know what type of team they are and show you on every play. They took the heart out of the Browns and created a new team. they brought the same passion, and added some more talent and it has proven to be a perfect combination. It is an honor to watch these guys play.
The Eagles are fighting to get back into the Superbowl. They met up with the Raiders for the first time and came in with a new game plan. They left the field with an impressive win. They just played the Patriots and again it looked like a completely different team than that, that has been showing up during the season. They have one more game to go before they hit the playoffs and we can only wonder if this has been their plan from the beginning. Have the Eagles come into this season with the intentions of showing one thing during the regular season and then flipping it all around in the post season? have they been playing possum all this time, or are they just still trying to find an identity?
the falcons took themselves out of the playoff hunt and probably even out of the Superbowl with these 2 last Forfeits. They had a real shot to tie with the Saints and force a wild card game to see who would meet the Eagles in the playoffs. Eagles would have gotten a bye week and we all know what happens to the Eagles when they get a week off. They lose the very next game. That would have meant that the Falcons would have been in the Superbowl vs either the Raiders or the Patriots which they have beaten before. So could have been crowned as 2011 M2SPORTS champs if they could have just showed up.

Only 4 WKs Left !!!!

We probably showed up on Sunday with the confidence of knowing which teams were going home with another win. Well... It started with the Patriots meeting up with the defending champs, Mad Ink Browns. Certain people were saying that there was no way the Pats were gonna take another game away from the Browns. And that after last week, the Browns changed everything around and may have found a secret weapon on the offense. That the Patriots couldn't change enough to repeat the upset.
Well the battle began and the Patriots almost ran away with it. The Pats came in with a game plan and followed it to a tee. The Browns tried to stop it but just couldn't adapt quick enough to stop the Patriots to from scoring. The Patriots finally got their 2nd win and it was well deserved. They played their hearts out. They improved their record to 2-5 and although it isn't too impressive, it may be good enough to make it into the playoffs. Yes I said playoffs. The Browns have 4 more games to ruin those plans. It isn't going to be easy for the defending champs. Those last 4 games are against the 5-2 Raiders; the 4-3 Saints; the 3-4 Falcons; and the 6-1 Eagles. Each of these teams drive the Browns crazy. Now nothing is guaranteed in this league, and that's why we show up on Sundays and play these games. If the Browns can pull it together to make a last strong run, they can surely make the Patriots nervous about that playoff spot.
Now the battle of all battles happened between the Saints and Eagles. This was to keep the Eagles from clinching and hopefully take them out of the Playoff picture all together. Who ever won this game was going to be declared the best team in the division and even the league. This game was one you had to watch. it was truly one of the most competitive games this season. And the best part about these two teams is that there is a good chance they may meet in the Playoffs. If they went "H.A.M." during a regular season game, can you imagine what they are going to do in a game that could mean going into the Superbowl? Painful!!!!
The Raiders are leading the AFC and the only team to beat them twice is Dem Falcons Boyz. Who did they just play in wk7? You guessed it, the Falcons. The Falcons came into this game with just 9 players. They have a tremendous amount of players on the injured reserve list. And the players that are on this list are players that are some of the most important ones for this team. They showed up with a team that is still considered very dangerous and if they can just get a lead, they can hold off an offense attack long enough for the time to run out and sneak off the field with a win and sweep the Raiders.
The Raiders are a very impressive team. They adapt every week and look like they dont get tired. They have a great offensive line lead by a QB that is very difficult to predict. they also have a defensive line that just looks scary. these guys seem to run at a 100% all day. They don't have one game that they slowed down once. It is getting to the time of year when they play teams like the Saints and the Eagles and this will be a test for these guys. The Raiders clinched a Playoff spot by beating the Falcons this week and not allowing a sweep. They also had help from the Patriots when they beat the Browns making it almost impossible for them to take one of those 2 playoff spots.
Will the Browns make a run for the Playoffs? Can the Patriots hold them off for the last 4 wks so they can get in? Will the Raiders continue to show their dominance and not just make it to the Playoffs but take home the crown? Will the Falcons regroup and put the best players on the field to try to move the Saints out of that last playoff spot? Will the Saints bounce back off of their tough loss and put the league on notice. Will the Eagles overcome the injuries to their team and finally put it all together to take home the ring for the 2nd time?
What would be your Superbowl preference?

Still Anyone's Game!!!

So wk6 is behind us, and for some of us, it's time time to dig in and put up a better fight or get left behind. In the AFC the Six Seventeen Raiders are looking like they are gonna walk into the Playoffs with a 4-2 record. These big body boys are starting to find themselves and are putting a great team on the field every Sunday. Their games are not as quick as maybe others are but that could have been because they were getting tired quickly. These guys are in great shape, don't get us wrong, but when you play at 100% on every down, it starts to take a toll on you. Now that we are mid way through the season, these guys are not getting tired any more, which is bad news for the rest of the league. With a 4-2 record and only 5 games left... it may be too late to take this team out of the Playoffs.
The defending champs, Mad Ink Browns are down but not out. they still have a shot of getting to the big show with a disappointing 1-5 record. Yes, they still have a shot. If they can recapture the #2 spot in the AFC they get to go to the Playoffs and in the post season, it only takes 1 win !!! They struggled in the first half on the season, and really couldn't find themselves and it showed on Sundays. It looked to us as if they didn't know if they should a dominate force on defense or if they should look to the offense to win their games. Hopefully, they found something to cling on to this past Sunday as they go into a game that could mean the end of an era. The Browns have been in each of the past 3 Superbowls and winning 2 of them. This team has accomplished allot of "1st" in this league. 1st to clinch a Superbowl appearance in just 6 games. 1st to win 2 Superbowls with 2 completely revamped teams. 1st to take a game into double overtime. And now this could the 1st time they watch the Superbowl from the same view as the fans.
The Hyde Park Patriots are always a threat to win every game except for maybe week 1. But since then, they have worked on putting the right players in the right spots to help them become a team you cannot sleep on. At any moment, this team can take a "win" from ANY team in this league. There is not one team in this league that has not gotten worried about losing to these group of guys, as they play them. Their 1-5 record traps opponents into believing this team is a joke. The joke is on you if you believe that. Playing this team, you immediately realize that it isn't gonna be an "easy win." They will score 1 and before you know it, they are on their way to score their 4th and you're wondering how did that happen. This team is small but deadly. It is going to interesting to watch this upcoming Sunday as they take on the defending champs with hopes of taking 2 out of the 3 meetings between them. Doing this will most likely take the defending champs out of the Playoffs, or at least make it extremely difficult for them to get there. And if the Raiders think that it will easy to see the Patriots in the post season, let us remind them that the Patriots gave them a battle just last week.
The NFC is just too close to call it just yet. All 3 teams are just too damn good to favor any one of them. They all have different strengths and weaknesses that make it a challenge to pick one to win the division. The only thing we can say is that the healthiest team is the Fresco Inc Saints. They have also changed the most during the season. It looks to us, that they have finally found what the Saints are going to be known for. They are starting to have fun out there, and maybe that's the key to their success. They have met the Eagles twice this year and have split it 1 each. They have only played the Falcons once and the Saints took that one. They are on a 3 game winning streak and it doesn't look like they are slowing down any time soon. the Saints have a 4-2 record and will playing the Eagles at 5-1 to determine who is the better team. If the Saints keep rolling as they have been, they will tie the Eagles with a 5-2 record each. And by beating the Eagles twice it would put them over the Eagles and in that number 1 spot in the NFC and if we are not mistaken, in the League.
The U.M. Eagles have allot of injuries to their line up and need the back ups to step up in order to make it a game against the Saints. The Eagles would need to be on their "A" game to come home with another "W" and have the leagues best record. This would make the best team in the NFC and would basically put them in the Playoffs. This team has allot of work to do if they are planning on making their run now. You can see that they entered the season playing a certain type of football. It looked to us as if they were going away from their strengths and working on certain type of plays. This past Sunday it looked as if they went back to what they know and it showed. Could it be that this team had a plan for this season and not a week by week basis? Could it be that this team is planning on bringing everything together in the Playoffs and/ or Superbowl? Can they still do it with all the injuries? Its gonna be interesting to watch what they do this upcoming Sunday.
Dem Falcons Boyz are far from done. They were missing allot of players this past Sunday and have the same problem as the U.M. Eagles. They have a Injured Reserve list that is bigger than their roster. They didn't like how the finished the game against the Saints, and look for them to come into this game with that chip on their shoulder that it seems they have misplaced. They play the Raiders for the 3rd and final time and hope to have the same outcome as the other 2 times. They say it's hard for a team to beat another for the 3rd time in a row. And normally, we support that theory. But we look at the film of their last meeting and it looked to us as if the Falcons were more dominate than their first meeting. Did they find a weakness in the Raiders that everyone else have missed? Is it that the Falcons chip only shows up when they play this team? We think this team is one of the most well balanced teams in this league. They have a great mixture of big body boys and fast as lightning players. Playing against this team is a problem. You can't focus on just one player. If you worry about the run, then look back and watch your CBs get MOSSED!!!!. If you worry about those WRs beating your secondary, then be prepared to see their RBS run past them for a score. In order to give yourself a shot, your defense has to be as balanced as their offense. We haven't seen that yet. Yes they have injuries, but they still make things happen. The biggest impact to the team would be the injury to the "FattestBoy" Abel. We believe that he is the voice of that defense and the way that yells out coverage on the defense, they will definitely miss that from here on out. Hopefully he can still make the games and continue to be an important part of that team from the sidelines. They will surely miss his playing ability but hopefully by having bark out orders from the sideline, it can make up for him not being on the field.
We have said it before but it is truly the most important week for all the teams to cement their names in M2SPORTS history.

Half Way Done and It Feels Like We Just Started !!!!

So the season is almost over. You are about to see some changes in the schedules to try to mix things up. Division games are more important than non division games. But you guys knew that. This past week, we seen some interesting things develop.
First those crazy Hyde Park Patriots met up with Fresco Inc Saints. The Pats beat the defending champs to make it harder for our champs to repeat. They also put a scare in the other team that appeared in the past 3 Superbowl, we're talking about those Eagles who look pretty good at times. Now it was another chance to take a game away from a team who thought it was going to be a cake walk. They went back and fourth for a few and each team capitalized on the other team's mistakes. Fresco Inc Saints helped themselves out by beating the only undefeated team in the league, those U.M. Eagles. Dropping the Eagles to a 3-1 record and bringing their record up to a 2-2 record and hoping the Falcons could be bring the Eagles another loss to tie up their record. The Saints put away the Patriots with a 5-2 score. It was a great game to watch and it was nice to see some of the Saints back on the Field. Now with the Saints record at a 3-2 they would need the help of the division rivals, Dem Falcons boys, to endup being at a tie with the Eagles.
The Falcons are meeting up with the Eagles for the 2nd time this season. The first gave the Falcons the first loss for this very powerful team. This time the Falcons came in with a very different game plan then the first time. With almost their whole team intact, still missing their starting QB, they came off fast. With their first play being a deep pass, they scored with just one play. And just like that, the battle began. The Eagles also came out with a game plan of their own and it seemed like it based on throwing the Falcons off thier game plan. Taking them out of the game and they started by running.... alot. Switching between Bnyce and Mr. Incredible, it seemed like the Eagles wanted to prove something. This was a battle that any one of these teams could have easily left the field with the "W". When the smoked cleared and clouds parted, there was only one team that could hold their hands up in victory. On this day, it just happened to be the Eagles. That puts the Eagles back on top of their division. And it means more than you think. These teams meet up 3 times this year and they only have one more meeting. It is very difficult to beat a team 3 times in one season.
Now the Browns met the Raiders for the 2nd time this year. The first was the battle of the century. With the first ever double overtime game in M2SPORTS history. The Raiders finally beat the Browns in that game and now the defending champs wanted pay back. They had to come in without the biggest defensive threat on their team. Missing for the 2nd straight week, El Cuco was a no show. The Raiders had a few no show also. But this game was another battle. But it didnt take as long as the first game. This time they were able to finish the game within the time provided. Its crazy to watch these 2 teams go at it. they have alot of talent of both sides of the ball. And inour opinion, they match each other pretty well. These 2 teams dont play fast football, but play smart football. Its like watching two juggernauts go at it. Its not your typical game. Its something that if you like football, then you'll love to watch these 2 teams meet. The Raiders came out of this game with another win and their 2nd over the Champs. Does this mean that they are the team to beat in the AFC? Is it too early to say they will be in the Superbowl? Will the Patriots and Browns be able to beat them this season? Are they on a roll to win it all? And who will they meet in the playoffs? Will they meet the Saints? Or how about the Falcons who have beaten them twice already? Or will it be a much smaller team like the Eagles?
This upcoming week will put some teams away. And put other teams into the playoffs. What are your predictions?

IS IT WK 4 ALREADY?!!

So this is when you can start to see which teams have a game plan and which teams are just winging it. Teams will be meeting up for the 2nd time this season, and the first time jitters will be gone. They will know what the opponent is capable of, and which players are the biggest threat. Remembering the first match up and adapting to have a better outcome, is the key to leaving the field with a "W" and a smile.
The first match up of the day is the defending champs Mad Ink Browns vs the Hyde Park Patriots.
The Browns had a Sunday to forget last week, and are going to be extremely hungry this upcoming Sunday, and definitely going to come out to try to make a statement. They are still the defending champs and should regarded as that. They have 2 out of the 3 crowns and have not changed their mission of getting number 3 this season. The Patriots are not a team that should be taken lightly. They gave the Browns a bit of an issue their first meeting. They continued to drive teams crazy when they met up with the Fresco Inc Saints. The final score of that game is not even close to disrcibing how much of a battle this game was. And this past Sunday, the Patriots were doing the same thing to another team that spent the last 3 years in the Superbowl. The U.M. Eagles came out with a plan to put these guys away but forgot to tell the Patriots to follow those plans. The patriots matched every score the Eagles made and were giving the Eagles the same headache they have been giving to other teams. This Sunday, the Patriots want to finally finish their mission and send the defending champs home with their 3rd loss. Will it happen?
The next game on the agenda is one between The biggest boys in the league. The Six Seventeen Raiders seem to have finally find their identity and want to play Dem Falcons with the full roster. They believe that during their first match up, they were at a disadvantage missing around 3 very important players that can open up their playbook and allow them to spread the ball allot better than they did in game one. The Falcons have a chip on their shoulders and they play like they want you to know. They are focused on making it very difficult for anyone to gain positive yardage. They have a great mixture of both size and speed and want to point out that they too were missing important players and still made things happen. Who needs this game more you ask? Well, the Raiders have improved their record to 2-1 with the double header they had this past Sunday and are now leading the AFC. Dem Falcon Boyz have the same record and are 1 game behind the Eagles which they play in a week. In my personal opinion, I feel the pressure is on the Falcons to win against the Raiders and try to do the same next week against the Eagles so they can actually tie with them and put themselves in a very good position to take it all in the NFC. They would love for the Fresco Inc Saints to help them out by having them beat those Eagles on Sunday.
As you may have guessed already, the last game is between the U.M. Eagles and those golden boys Fresco Inc Saints. The Saints have promised that they have figured out the Eagles and will put them away as quickly as did with the Patriots. The Eagles are the only teams in the NFC that haven't reached 7 yet. The Falcons have done it with the Browns and the Saints did it to the Patriots team that made the Eagles worry. The Saints have jelled pretty well and have the same talent the Eagles do. They match each other extremely well and this week, it is going to be the game of the week. Who are you picking to win it all? Are you guys still picking the Patriots and Falcons to be in the Superbowl, or have you guys seen something that has changed your minds?

WEEK 3 DOWN IN THE BOOKS!!!!

Oh yes it is over and has been a very difficult Sunday. It started with the Raiders and the defending champs, Mad Ink Browns finishing the first ever double overtime game in M2SPORTS history. Sudden death rules and the after a quick defensive battle back and fourth the Raiders finally closed the chapter in this meeting with a win.
The next game was that between the Eagles and the Patriots. And if you thought that it was gonna be easy for the Eagles, you should have talked to the Patriots first. They came out determined to prove that their record isn't accurate to the talent they have. They put a scare in the Eagles fans and forced the Eagles to change their game plan. The final score doesn't tell the story of how close this game was. The Pats were focused and stuck to what they knew was gonna work. The Eagles scratched their way back and took the lead and kept it til the time ran out.
The Falcons played the Browns in the 2 official battle of week 3. This was posted as the game of the week. The Falcons came out pretty fast and they didn't let up. They were missing their QB sidearm and quickly found their back up. The Mad Ink Browns just finished playing a very difficult game against the Raiders and came out a little slow. They played the QB carousel with a total of 3 Qbs. Each had their good points but its very difficult to get into a rhythm switching that position in and out. The Falcons were as good as they have always have been in every game this year. This team has a chip on their shoulders and it shows.
Now for the final game of the day. The Six Seventeen Raiders took on the fast paced Fresco Inc Saints team. The Saints started out as expected. They started out very quickly and it started with a player you wouldn't expect it from. The Landlord was piling up some quick stats and was doing his part to move those Saints in position to score. Don't know why they stopped but they did. Raiders didn't show any signs of fatigue until close to the end of the game. The Saints came back just in time to tie things up right before the game was suppose to end. Taking the Raiders into yet another overtime game. This time no double overtime. The Raiders finally scraped up enough energy to push down the field and put the game away with a touchdown pass.

WEEK 3

Oh so we have the 2-0 Eagles going against an 0-2 Patriot team. Don't be fooled by the records, these 2 teams know each other pretty well. They have practiced together and even scrimmaged against each other during the off season. The Patriots are not scared of these Eagles and these Eagles know what the Pats are capable of. They most likely have a plan for each other and it's not going to be a cake walk for either team.

The Saints are playing a bigger team in the Raiders but because of how the Raiders' last game went , they have to finish their game with the Browns before meeting up with the Fresco Inc Saints. This could be a problem for the Raiders if they don't work on some cardio before the big game. And the Saints will probably use their speed since they don't have the size to stop these Raiders from getting, what could be, thier 2nd "W". Lets see if these teams can prepare for each other.

Oh Yes.... it is time for the Game of the Week!!! Those defending Champs Mad Ink Browns are having another battle of the big boys when they meet up with Dem Falcons. Oh the Champs are going to have thier hands full after finally finishing thier game with the Raiders at 11am to go back into battle Dem Falcons boys who have a mixture of big body warriors and ahtletic speedsters that can be all over the field. They have both a great Oline and a very powerful Dline. Can the Defending Champs keep thier energy up to clip the Falcons wings? Or will Dem Falcon boyz tear the flesh off those mighty dogs we call the Browns. The Game of the Week people. Be there or buy the dvd!!!!    BING!!!!

WK2 PEOPLE!!!!

If you remember we did say that wk 1's game of the week was going to be the Falcons vs The Raiders and were not mistaken. We also told you that wk2's game of the week was going to be a battle of the big boys with the defending champs Mad Ink Browns facing those mighty  mighty Raiders. And again..... we did not lie. Not only did they go into overtime, but we have to continue their game this upcoming Sunday because we could not see anything after a 3 1/2 hour battle. We paused it at 3-3 and are going to continue after a coin toss and another sudden death. The Browns are coming together nicely after struggling with the Patriots. The Raiders have gone to war twice and it seems like they like it. Oh you must stay tuned for this one to finish right.

WK 2 ALREADY?

The 2nd game was a great to be on the sideline and watch. But a fustrating one to be playing. Fresco Inc Saints came in looking really godd. They just finish coming off a lost to the Eagles and were determined to make the Pats suffer for it. They took a quick lead and it started to look as if they were gonna run away with it. The Pats coming off a tough lost to the Browns were not gonna step back and let the Saints run all over them. They managed to get a spark from the newest member of the squad. They stayed on the ground for the most part and started to worry the Saints. After a few fustrating possessions with no gain, the Saints finally were able to put the game away and were the first team to score 7 this season. The Patriots are looking really tough and the next team they face should take them very seriously or else.

ALREADY AT WK2!!!!!

This crazy thing of ours!!!! Bunch of dedicated warriors showing up on the battle field to take care of business. The first to step on the field were members of Dem Falcons. First game in the hurricane was a divsion game between Dem Falcons vs The Eagles. Both coming from impressive wins. Strong winds made it very difficult for the teams to throw down field.  Teams had no choice but to depend on their running games. Kinda put Dem Falcons behind the 8 ball having their best RB missing in action. The Eagles took advantage of the weather and focused their defense on stopping the running game. As expected it was not a high scoring game but it was very exciting to watch. #1 Philly from the Eagles looking like the Philly of old. #1 of the Eagles was running around the filed like he did year 2 when the team only had 1 loss and finished the season taking home the big prize. But the soap opera is far from over. These 2 fast paced teams meet each other 2 more times. OOOOHHH thats gonna be must see tv.

AFTER WEEK 1

Rough week 1 for teams. You can tell which teams practiced during the off season and which teams needed more time. Refs had a rough time getting roles and responsibilities narrowed down. They missed a few calls and at times seemed not to be on the same page. But after the first game they got into a rythm and started to get comfortable in their roles. Browns vs Patriots was a close game for the Browns. Both teams have some work to do to get their teams to obey the rules. There was alot of players with flags being covered by their jersey. A few with the flags on their backs. Alot of jumping offsides. Offensive players taking off before the ball is snapped. But all in all a great game. It was said before the season started that the Patriots could be the team to give the Browns their first lost. That would have happened if not for a few penalties.
Saints vs Eagles was a little quieter. But had a few of the same issues. Eagles center snapping the ball early and even moving without snpping the ball. A Saints tackle to prevent a TD by Gabe that should have resulted in a touchdown based on the rules. But still a very good game.Looked lke the Saints Oline got a little winded as the game progressed. Fresco and Gwillz are still a problem and Joey got like 3 picks in one game which is crazy.
Falcons vs Raiders was the game of the week and had a little too much test flowing on the field. Some sensitive ass players who couldnt seperate game from music video. Not everything is a thug's life. It was the second game that finished 4-2. Too much to type up on that one.

New Season!!!!!!!

Hope You fans are ready for desert!!!!! The Raiders vs Falcons is going to be the Game of the Week!!!! Oh this is goig to be a good one. Raiders splitting from last years Ravens to come back with, what they feel, is a much better team. They have a very unique defense that is going to mke very difficult for any teams to score on them. They have that DLine that has players like Dev who feel they should have gotten an award over some other people. He has a chip on his shoulders and is taking it to your ass. He is backed up by some very talented and fast players that feel the same way. If you play this team be prepared to battle or get abused. They have an offense this as unpredictable as the QB that runs it. Try to fiqure Droi out and whe you think you finally got it..... game is most like;y gonna be over. There are coming to this sunday confident that they will be able to prove that they are a better team and that Falcons need to worry about their own division.
But Dem Falcons aren't so convinced. They have the heart of that Ravens team still intact. They feell they have a better QB and that they have a few ways to beat that Raiders defense. They are so syre that when it came down to scrimmage, they only brought a handful of players and kept everyone else away. Falcons are a well rounded team. They are not just good in one area but in multiple phases of the game. They feel they have the best Special Team in the league. That no one can compete with that DLine of thiers and thier secondary will be bored waiting for a pass to be thrown. This entire team is focused on winning, not just every game, but every single play. If you love football like these teams do, you CANNOT miss this game. This is the game that players wont miss. This is the game that is going to create the standard in competing for the entire season. I will guarantee you that both teams will feel this game for an entire week after they meet this sunday. Can you say highlight reel?

New Season!!!!!!!

OOOOOHHHHH !!!!! What will these Fresco Inc Saints bring to the table? Lots of speed. Lots of talent. Lots of big players. Lots of a little of everything!!!. They have a core of players that have jewelry and the rest want thier own. They are dedicated to take them Eagles and pluck away every hope they have to repeat last years Superbowl appearance. These Siants are very explosive and can change the outcome of any and all games with justone play. They can score at will and are very difficult to figure out.
But these Eagles arent the same any more. They didn't llike how they played ast year. And were very upset about missing out on getting the crown last year. They had lots of injuries last year. They had players that didnt match what they wanted to do. So this year they focused on getting players that wanted the same thing.... PERFECTION!!!! And they truly believe they have that. They feel like they have to prove themselves all over again and are happy to do so.
This is going to be a very interseting game to witness. Two teams that I feel match each other perfectly. We believe the winniner of this game is going to be the team that makes the fewest mistakes.

New Season!!!!!!!

SO its about to go down!!!!! Browns going against 2 teams in one. Pats are have been doing all their shit in secret. No one kows what they are capable of. It's last years Redskins and last years Panthers joining forces to dethrone the Champs. If ou remember last year, both teams gave the Browns a problem and came just 1 play away from giving them Browns their 2nd lost and throwing the league into the first ever playoff. Ravens were drooling to give knock those Browns out of the Bowl and were happy to replace them at any moment.
But these aint last years Browns. They are bigger, stronger, faster and still have the leaders they have always had. They want to prove to this league that they are a dynasty and are the best team in this league. This could be the last year that MAD INK actually pay on thier team. They want to finish with another ring. They promise to keep bringing a team to the field but wont really be a part of the team that they put on the field.
This sunday, the Pats are promising to do everything they can to knock the crown off the heads of the 2010 Kings of the League. Lets make sure we are ALL on that field to witness what could easily be the biggest upset of the year!!!!

Your Fantasy Team

If you could create your own team with the players that are in the league already, who would they be?  You only get to have a starting team and they cant play both sides of the ball. Feel free to put in under comments or on the Facebook page.

The Teams to Watch

With the season fast approaching, we take a look at the teams and have OUR ideas on who is gonna be the teams to watch. First, lets talk about the Six Seventeen Raiders. They have players that look angry and want to prove that they deserved some type of trophy for what they did last year.We also think that they are coming into this season with an ax to grind and are planning on using Dem Falcons to do it. We can all feel the tension between both teams, but if they dont use the same focus for teams in their owm division, they may just lose the war. They have great wideouts with garfield and C.U.Lata coming back. They have a QB that is hard to judge, you dont know if he's gonna run or stop and throw. The defense is trying something different with 2 safeties and making offenses throw short or run. By doing this, the Raiders' secondary is making sure that everything is done in front of themand nothing gets behind them. Pretty smart idea.
Now Dem Falcons are not gonna be that easy to use as a tool. they did scrimmage the Raiders and looked like they were giving them a problem. Keep in mind that it was just a scrimmage and both teams were missing some players, with Dem Falcons missing more key players than the Raiders. But with saying that, both teams were not taking it too easy on the other. They have some (competetive) bad blood and we don't think they would each other off the hook. the Falcons are a little quicker and have a pretty fast team on the field. They haven't lost anything on the trash talking and we feel thats gonna bother alot of teams. The falcons D-Line looks pretty scary. And they brought back the best pocket passer in the league. Dem Falcons are in a strong division, and every game in their division is gonna make them stronger and smarter, so it's going to be a problem for everyone in this league.
Stay tuned as we focus on other teams in this thing of ours, and bring you our opinion on who is gonna be a problem, and who is going to have have some problems.

THE NEW NFC

So some say the NFC isn't as strong as it once was. Some say that we got use to the seeing a strong division and it's really no surprise that it's as strong as it always was.
We have the Falcons that the Ravens last year. They split up and took the self proclaied, heart of the team to the NFC in hopes of meeting either the Browns or the Raiders in the big show. They still have same focus as they did last year and with players like Mostrosity; RTB; Fattestboy; Beastmode and TD4ME, there shouldnt be any reason why they should struggle.
You also have the Fresco Inc Saints who arecoming from a championship team. They are trying to prove that they are the reason why the Browns have their 2nd ring. They have 4 extremely talented players that can play any position as well as anyone in the league. With GWillz; Bullet; and Mr. Fresco Inc himself, this team has the potential to make any team hate meeting them on Sundays.
Now you have the Ave Boy Eagles, a team that has been to the big show 3 years running. They took home the trophy their 2nd year in the league and want to, not just get back, but be a dynasty in the league. They are starting fromscratch and making everyone earn their spot on the team. How serious are they.... they were the first team to pay to play and they paid during last season. With the 3HM getting their team focused, some may say they have the best shot to win the division.
This year is going to be like a spanish soap opera.... mad drama every sunday, with twist and turns in every game. Stay tuned and make sure you check out the games... you can't watch them on Netflix.

The New AFC

The New AFC looks to be a great place to be if you like competition. You have the Redskins and Panthers got together and decided to move to the AFC. They both gave the Browns a challenge last year, and they are hoping that by joining forces, they will finally be able to give those other teams away.
The Ravens have changed their name, and moved to the NFC, but a few players think that they forgot the best part of their team. That piece has decided to create their own team, and stay in the AFC. The Raiders are their new face, and they feel they have the best chance to dethrown the newly crowned champs.
The 2 time champs, MAD*INK Browns are splitting up again and if you are keeping track, Ravens, Saints, last year Pats are teams that came from the Browns. They have gone to the Superbowl 3 years in a row, yes thats every year that the league has been active. They have have won 2 out of 3 crowns and thats amazing by itself. They have come in year after year and brought a very tough team to the field every sunday. They come in this year with the toughest team yet. They have replaced players that have left with better ones. They have a better game plan this year than what they brought in last year, and promise that other teams are going to get fustrated trying to figure out how to not get blown out.
This year is going to be crazy.

As I casually strolled across the dingy Boston playing field on a brisk Sunday afternoon the winds began to whip through my jacket and the words watch your step scrolled across my mind as I carefully navigated through the debris that is a part of many urban ball fields , broken glass, geese droppings, etc. Wait a minute is that human feces?  I finally made it to the sideline set up my portable sports chair and got ready to watch an M2Sports flag football game between the Giants and the Eagles. The only reason I was at this game was to watch my son Tony aka “Tadow” along with the rest of his Giant teammates “H8me, Sho Nuff, Killa, Toby, Javafi,Jeebies, El Negro, Phil, Cbert and P.T compete.
Before the game started the first thing I noticed was how diverse the teams were, there were men of all racial, social, religious and economic backgrounds playing side by side or as opposition.  The formation of the league was the brainchild of Mario Lopez a Latino brother who had the vision to create a format where men can be men have fun, stay in shape and release the stress of daily living at least once a week and have the freedom to unleash their alter ego’s with names like K-Dogg, Speedy, Mr. Puerto Rico etc. It was great to see such a diverse collection of men gathered together.
The game finally began and immediately there was a lot of trash talking, this was my first time attending the games, so the language assault I experienced caught me off guard, I was sure someone was going to take the comments out of context and blows would be thrown, this was definitely not a PG-13 event and don’t get it twisted just because it’s a flag football league, this sports is not for little boys, hits on the sideline are legal and people can and do get cracked, much to the delight of the crowd on run backs or blocking at the line.  Both teams spent a fair amount of time and energy trading verbal air assaults from ethnic put downs to the questioning of “Manhood” for everyone to hear and laugh at on the sidelines.  The contest was intense and went back and forth the Giants scored first then the Eagles and this pattern lasted over two hours, until “Tadow” scored the game winning touchdown. What happened at the conclusion of the game is what really impressed me, I just knew that after all the jarring that took place the end of the game would be the opportunity for someone to over react to something that was said and blow it out of proportion, as I watched the teams walk toward each other at midfield,  the teams simply shook hands, embraced, laughed, shared water and a genuine respect for their brothers after all it was just a game they left their differences on the football field.
At that very moment I pondered the following, why can’t these same men who represent something larger than themselves come together for a common cause away from the playing field and take that same passion and energy back to the community to help tear down the walls that separate us and make a difference?  What is it that keeps our neighborhoods segregated once they exit the playing surface? After the games are over, the blacks will go their way and hang out with the blacks, the Latino’s will hang with the Latino’s and so on for the white males. It’s been said that sports serves as a microcosm of the larger society in many ways, but it’s ironic that the same people who can spend hours together as teammates or engaged in healthy competition go their separate ways and live in different worlds once the games end. Imagine how powerful it would be to see these same men standing side by side leading voter registration drives, mentoring programs, policing the block to make the hood safe, visiting classrooms, and juvenile detention centers. They would be excellent role models in demonstrating to our youth that beneath the obvious differences of color and race we can get along. On the playing fields diversity is what helps a team come together, the successful teams adopt the philosophy of inclusion and appreciation of variety and they figure out how to make those differences work together for a common goal, “winning”.  Yet that same approach is rarely seen in other area’s politics, education, religion and employment to name a few.
