What Did I Miss?

I tell ya what ya missed. This thing of ours is better than a Spanish soap opera. Eagles have a record of 9-1 followed by the Raiders with a 7-3 record. Saints with a 6-5. Falcons and Patriots share a 3-7 record each followed by the defending champs with a disappointing 2-8 record. And as for the action.... where do I start.
The Browns have gone on a down spiral that they just couldn't get out of in enough time to make a run for another Superbowl appearance. They fall to a 2-8 record with the only 2 wins coming from a game one win over the Pats and a Falcons forfeit. They have lost to every team in this league. I am sure that this does not sit well with the owners from Mad Ink and rumors have it, they are already making changes to their 2012 rosters. You will be surprised with the players that will not be coming back. Stay Tuned for that one.
Patriots clinched that last spot in the playoffs and helped themselves by beating the Browns and another Falcons forfeit. This team is on fire and have a great shot to go all the way. If you take a look at their previous games, you can see how much of a problem they are to ALL the teams in this league. They can change the game with just one play. And they have the talent to keep a lead. Fall asleep on this team, and you may wake up with a loss.
Raiders putting in work these past few weeks and has a pretty good record going into the end of the regular season. They win over the Browns then meet the Eagles and lost a great fight. met up with the Saints and after a battle for the ages, sneak away with a "W". These last 2 games mean alot. If they can beat the Patriots in the playoffs, they will have to battle one of these 2 great teams in order to leave with the crown. Going into the Playoffs everyone is 0-0 and the only thing that matters is the game that is being played.
The Saints have proven themselves to be true competitors and take care of teams the best way they know how. They beat em !!! They are going to meet the Eagles in the playoffs and it's going to be a hard, physical, very competitive game. If you miss that one, you will miss history in the making. PERIOD!!!! The Saints come into every week ready to put teams away. They know what type of team they are and show you on every play. They took the heart out of the Browns and created a new team. they brought the same passion, and added some more talent and it has proven to be a perfect combination. It is an honor to watch these guys play.
The Eagles are fighting to get back into the Superbowl. They met up with the Raiders for the first time and came in with a new game plan. They left the field with an impressive win. They just played the Patriots and again it looked like a completely different team than that, that has been showing up during the season. They have one more game to go before they hit the playoffs and we can only wonder if this has been their plan from the beginning. Have the Eagles come into this season with the intentions of showing one thing during the regular season and then flipping it all around in the post season? have they been playing possum all this time, or are they just still trying to find an identity?
the falcons took themselves out of the playoff hunt and probably even out of the Superbowl with these 2 last Forfeits. They had a real shot to tie with the Saints and force a wild card game to see who would meet the Eagles in the playoffs. Eagles would have gotten a bye week and we all know what happens to the Eagles when they get a week off. They lose the very next game. That would have meant that the Falcons would have been in the Superbowl vs either the Raiders or the Patriots which they have beaten before. So could have been crowned as 2011 M2SPORTS champs if they could have just showed up.

Only 4 WKs Left !!!!

We probably showed up on Sunday with the confidence of knowing which teams were going home with another win. Well... It started with the Patriots meeting up with the defending champs, Mad Ink Browns. Certain people were saying that there was no way the Pats were gonna take another game away from the Browns. And that after last week, the Browns changed everything around and may have found a secret weapon on the offense. That the Patriots couldn't change enough to repeat the upset.
Well the battle began and the Patriots almost ran away with it. The Pats came in with a game plan and followed it to a tee. The Browns tried to stop it but just couldn't adapt quick enough to stop the Patriots to from scoring. The Patriots finally got their 2nd win and it was well deserved. They played their hearts out. They improved their record to 2-5 and although it isn't too impressive, it may be good enough to make it into the playoffs. Yes I said playoffs. The Browns have 4 more games to ruin those plans. It isn't going to be easy for the defending champs. Those last 4 games are against the 5-2 Raiders; the 4-3 Saints; the 3-4 Falcons; and the 6-1 Eagles. Each of these teams drive the Browns crazy. Now nothing is guaranteed in this league, and that's why we show up on Sundays and play these games. If the Browns can pull it together to make a last strong run, they can surely make the Patriots nervous about that playoff spot.
Now the battle of all battles happened between the Saints and Eagles. This was to keep the Eagles from clinching and hopefully take them out of the Playoff picture all together. Who ever won this game was going to be declared the best team in the division and even the league. This game was one you had to watch. it was truly one of the most competitive games this season. And the best part about these two teams is that there is a good chance they may meet in the Playoffs. If they went "H.A.M." during a regular season game, can you imagine what they are going to do in a game that could mean going into the Superbowl? Painful!!!!
The Raiders are leading the AFC and the only team to beat them twice is Dem Falcons Boyz. Who did they just play in wk7? You guessed it, the Falcons. The Falcons came into this game with just 9 players. They have a tremendous amount of players on the injured reserve list. And the players that are on this list are players that are some of the most important ones for this team. They showed up with a team that is still considered very dangerous and if they can just get a lead, they can hold off an offense attack long enough for the time to run out and sneak off the field with a win and sweep the Raiders.
The Raiders are a very impressive team. They adapt every week and look like they dont get tired. They have a great offensive line lead by a QB that is very difficult to predict. they also have a defensive line that just looks scary. these guys seem to run at a 100% all day. They don't have one game that they slowed down once. It is getting to the time of year when they play teams like the Saints and the Eagles and this will be a test for these guys. The Raiders clinched a Playoff spot by beating the Falcons this week and not allowing a sweep. They also had help from the Patriots when they beat the Browns making it almost impossible for them to take one of those 2 playoff spots.
Will the Browns make a run for the Playoffs? Can the Patriots hold them off for the last 4 wks so they can get in? Will the Raiders continue to show their dominance and not just make it to the Playoffs but take home the crown? Will the Falcons regroup and put the best players on the field to try to move the Saints out of that last playoff spot? Will the Saints bounce back off of their tough loss and put the league on notice. Will the Eagles overcome the injuries to their team and finally put it all together to take home the ring for the 2nd time?
What would be your Superbowl preference?
